What a beautiful way to celebrate Canada day.. By celebrating Katie & Justin’s love for one another at Queenstown Heights in Niagara On The Lake.
Queenstown Heights is an important piece of Canada’s history it’s where the American’s tried to establish a foothold on the Canadian side of the Niagara river. A battle that was won with the help of the British. So naturally this was the perfect venue for a wedding on Canada’s 150th Birthday.
There were jokes during the speeches that Justin will never forget their wedding anniversary. I know I will never forget where I was on Canada Day 2017.
It was a beautiful ceremony officiated by Justin’s Uncle, under the canopy of the Queenstown Heights restaurant. Which was truly perfect because it decided to rain a little right as Katie walked down the Isle, Looking so stunning with mom and dad on each arm.
I loved the wedding parties ensemble, the girls in their Aline blue dressed with white polka dots (so Lucile Ball) and the guys dressed super casual with their blue’s and Suspender. Katie made the bouquets nth ribbon and lollipops. This made for some really fun shots with the wedding party.
After the ceremony we were treated to a special showing of riffle shots in front of the Queenstown Heights monument. We were able to catch the sun as it set behind the trees during dinner creating the most beautiful backdrop for photos of Katie & Justin.
